ShweShwe Bead Ball Bracelet

Fun, fun, fun! Bright traditional South African shweshwe print fabric is wrapped on wood beads to make these colorful stretch bracelets, which are great by themselves or in a colorful stack. Each bracelet is handmade by women at Positively Empowered Artisans in Lesotho, Africa.

Positively Empowered Artisans is an association of ladies living with HIV/AIDS operating as a social enterprise. The groups put aside a percentage of their profits toward a comprehensive health care plan which ensures that members get the necessary health care at all times. The group was established in 2009 and are members of Lesotho Mountain Crafts, a united organization of crafters organized under Action Lesotho.
